Thirty five years ago, Phil Farco, left Mason Industries and the Big Apple with his wife Eileen and 5 kids in tow, to take on the challenge of starting a representative firm in Texas. He put down roots in the metropolis of Euless in October of ’78 and Mason Dallas was born. Despite his heavy New York accent and the fact that he did not own a cowboy hat or boots, or a horse for that matter, Phil quickly gained the confidence of the local contractors, engineers, and acousticians, and the business thrived.
Phil was soon joined by his brother Rich, and The Farco kids grew up in the shop packing orders after school and during the summer. How Phil got around the child labor laws we will never know, but now his son Steve is running the place with the help of his uncle Rich and his brothers Robert and Michael. Phil continues to help out and is also working with us nationally to promote the stainless steel line.
Mason-Dallas is proud to have worked on many prestigious projects in the Dallas Fort Worth area including Bass Hall, The Myerson Symphony Hall, DFW airport and Cowboy Stadium, among many others. We would like to congratulate Mason Dallas on this tremendous achievement and look forward to continuing to work with the future Farco generations over the next 35 years!
